We are currently seeking Site Project Coordinators to join our team on large projects within the potash mining sector around Saskatchewan.

Position Overview:

The Site Project Coordinator will work with on-site project management and engineering staff, in conjunction with client project staff to achieve project success. This role will play an integral part in keeping the team organized and on schedule by completing assigned duties from senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • With direction from the General Manager of Projects, assisting with the general operations of the project which involves developing project schedules and planning, organizing and securing equipment, human and material resources required in the execution of the heavy civil project;
  • Work closely with Superintendents, Foreman and HSE Advisors to ensure daily activities are carried out safely and economically;
  • Overseeing the project to ensure that it is executed on time and delivered economically, efficiently, and effectively, all within compliance of the required standards and specifications of the client;
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress including daily reports, construction schedules, delays, and damages;
  • Completing, interpreting, reviewing, and approving survey work to confirm designs and contract quantities for payment;

An ideal candidate:

Would possess proficiency with computers, office 365, and survey work. Having familiarity with civil construction would be beneficial to succeeding in this role, along with prior project coordinating experience.

Education such as a degree/diploma/certificate or experience in a related discipline such as engineering, construction management, or civil technology will be needed. Candidates will have to pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screening (including cannabis) as well as have a valid driver’s license to meet role requirements.

Candidate should plan for work rotations that are 11 days on, 3 days off, with an 11/12 hour day as standard, overtime is required, and 4 days are taken off for long weekends.

We are currently seeking Site Surveyors to join our team on large projects within the potash mining sector around Saskatchewan.

  • Overseeing the project to ensure that it is executed on time and delivered economically, efficiently, and effectively, all within compliance of the required standards and specifications of the client;

The Junior Site Project Coordinator (4-8-12-16-month co-op term) will work with on-site project management and engineering staff, in conjunction with client project staff to achieve project success.
